Grandparents' Day Celebration at SSGA TPKM

Sri Sankara Global Academy at Thoraipakkam Celebrated Grandparents' Day On 3rd December, 2024, to highlight the invaluable contributions of Grandparents to the younger generations.
The programme started on a bright Saturday morning at around 10:30 a.m with the blessings of Sri Kanchi Acharyas and all elders by specially welcoming them with the melodiousness of Thulasi Vandanam. The Senior Principal Mrs.J Kalaivani welcomed the gathering and brought to lime light the Values which are imbibed through various activities. A key highlight was that of “Pada Puja” in which the grandchildren, assisted by the teachers, solicited the blessings of their grandparents.
The cultural programmes by the budding artists of SSGA including Group songs, Folk dances and sharing of their happy moments mesmerized the grandparents. It was indeed a grand feast for their eyes & ears.
The guest of Honour Mr.Ravichandran Heartfulness Trainer, involved the parents and Grandparents in a few activities for Mind relaxation. SSGA demonstrated their belief that learning by doing is everlasting.
